Company projects:

SMmax

SMMax is the most important maxilosurgery society in Spain, creating network between professionals, helping patients in need and making easier for students in their formation.
My role here was to develop a consisten and modern visual language alongside building a website easy to navigate that can fulfill all its purpouses.

MY ROLE IN THIS PROJECT

Graphic & Brand Design

Build a modern new logo and visual identity that the client feels conected to

UX Research & Design

The website has a variety of different purpouses and targets, each one of them had to be adressed and organized accordingly. Also the client neede some tools to communicate with their audience

Copywriting

The tone is diferent when we are talking to a worried patient than a certified professional so I had to make this work

UI Design

I took all the previous work to create a modern looking and easy on the eye website that meets its goal of helping different targets

Logotype & Visual language

The visual identity had to take a few diferent things into consideration; who they are (surgeons and medical professional) where they are and who they represent (Madrid, wich is heavily represented by the color red) and a few more atributes to help the brand like a modern look that separates them from the usual related institutions.

That being said there were 2 proposals made that could fulfill these parameters, one of them more risky than the other so the client can make a clear opinion in wich path to take.

Summary of the logotype design process

UX Research

The client wanted to target with this project 2 different groups of people; professionals and patients, this can lead to problems of communication and has to be done corretly, thats why we sat down with the client, some surgeons  and some possible patients to get info and conclutions.

Below there2s the document that was presented to the client with the study and the conclusions

Sitemap

In this situation the sitemap is not as complicated as other projects I’ve been on but it’s still very important to make sure the client and us are in the same page and to separate what parts of the projects are for.
